  1. Go to http://webcourses.ucf.edu.
  2. Click “Check Your Browser” in the bottom left.
  3. It may take a short while but a test will run and the results will pop up in a new window.
  4. If you receive a red X next an item, follow the instructions provided to correct the possible issue.
  5. Recheck the browser and follow the instructions until all results are green checks.

It is also suggested to use a computer connected to the internet with a land line versus one using a wireless card when taking a timed assessment.  This should ensure connectivity.

My name is Max Burstein and I’m currently a freshmen here at UCF.  I began using computers around the age of 5 and since then have been really interested in their inner workings. Right now I’m proficient in the use of Photoshop, as well as HTML and CSS. I’d like to learn C, C++, and various other computer languages which is part of the reason why I am here at UCF and in the Computer Science program. I’d also like to learn how the internet actually works, as well as local networking to help me pursue a career in network administration. After my bachelors degree I plan to get a master’s degree in computer science as well.

TBD is used on a daily basis by members of the team as well as other teams within Course Development and Web Services. It is used for scheduling, time tracking, request processing, and technical support logging.

The Techrangers complete work requests for other teams in Course Development & Web Services. These requests are inputted into TBD and are sorted in order of priority by the application. The Techrangers then complete the requests, using TBD to time track and to notify the other teams of the completion of their requests.

TBD is also used as a ticket tracking system for student and faculty technical support incidents. Routinely the team uses TBD to input work schedules, log work done and generate time card printouts.
